We Seek To:
1. Introduce students who have endured traumatic experiences, and reside in low income communities, to expressive writing as a coping mechanism through self-publishing personal narratives.
2. Introduce Educators to what it means to be “Trauma-Informed” through professional development sessions to enhance their ability to establish and sustain student relationships as Educators learn the indicators of trauma and how to reach students of color, those who have experienced trauma and reside in low-income communities with high crime rate zones.
